This result proved great improvement by the Malaysian team as they improve their status, instead of failed their fan with their downfall recently.
By October 2009, Malaysia stands at 150th, behind Swaziland and Maldives, with 127.5 points.
However, we are still behind other South-East Asian teams, such as Thailand (115), Singapore(127), Indonesia (133), Myanmar (145) and Vietnam (146).
Despite of that, we should continue our support toward our team by any necessary means.

I think that we could analyse this ranking and predict the near future of our football team.
Malaysian football team cannot be too comfortable with the current ranking.
ReplyDeleteAs compared to August 1993 we were ranked 75, This latest ranking at 150 is way behind what we achieved in June 2000 (110) and June 1994 (95).
Therefore, we can see, how the standard have been deteriorating over the years. Nevertheless, what are the measures that have been taken to improve the performance?
What are the reasons our football team become so weak? Is it because they are too comfortable being labelled professional that the quality of the performance suffers? Or the players just not competitive enough? Is it mental of their physical limitations?
